T'm not trying to be funny, but... I don't think your eggplant is an eggplant! Our eggplant has purple leaves and tiny purple fruit. The fruit comes out fat and purple! Are y'all going a different kind? I am not trying to be mean. I really was interested!

Wow! I'm impressed. Things are looking really, really good : )
Love and peace, Amy Ellen
Jessica,
Yes! That is funny! I am laughing now! They are GREEN eggplant. :) We grow the regular ol' purple ones, the Ichaban, white, and green.
That's not mean at all! I'm glad you were interested. I didn't even realize that I only posted a photo of the green ones. That would be confusing.
Reminds me of the time I gave some of my fresh eggs (from Americauna hens) to my great grandmother. She looked bewildered at me and said "Those ain't pois'nus, are they?" :) :) :)
Ms. Kise,
Thanks so much!
Yummy!!
It's such a blessing to be able to grow our own food don't you think?
If you have the time,
I'd love it if you could take a look at my blog!
God Bless!

OK! That is funny! I have never seen a green eggplant! This is our first year to have eggplants. The other years they have all died! But this year we have four at least! I am about to post on them so be on the look out!
Greetings~
I just found your blog today and love all of the pictures of your garden! My family and I farm organically and raise a big garden every year, but we live way North, in ND, so our crops are quite a bit behind yours from the looks of things. Still, God has been sending the sunshine and rain this year and things are getting going...
I read the poem you have on the side of your blog, and had to laugh... Not all of us Northern girls wear silk and lace--anymore, that is! I hope you won't be offended having a Northern girl reading your blog? :) I too like home-spun dresses!
Cora Beth,
Thanks for the comment!
I'm glad you like my photos.
Offended?? Not a bit. I'm delighted!
Very good photos
Did you get my email
